OBSIDIAN GLOBAL, LLC Awarded Prime Contract to Provide Support Library of Congress for Data Center

Washington, DC – October 14, 2019 – Obsidian Global, LLC (Obsidian), a leading provider of Cybersecurity, DevOps, and IT Services for the federal government, announced today that the company was awarded a prime contract against their GSA IT Schedule 70 to evaluate the OCIO’s technical planning and overall execution of the primary data center relocation project. Obsidian shall review and provide information about the completeness and suitability of the data center and the transmission engineering solutions.

Additionally, Obsidian shall review the project plans for completeness and compliance with Project Management Institute (PMI). National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls including security, configuration management, and continuity of operations must be considered in the transition and final stages of the data center. Obsidian shall assess that Library (IT) policies and procedures exist, as well as evaluate the data center relocation project and efforts and develop and deliver draft and final reports that detail the findings of the evaluation.
