Justin Gazmen was born in Maui, HI, and raised in Las Vegas, NV. He went to UNLV to study Architecture, but later decided to focus on Graphic Design. He then joined the Air Force and was fortunate enough to get Japan as a first duty station where he caught interest in Drifting motorsport. He isn’t good at it yet, but practice makes better.
1. What is your role at Obsidian? How long have you been here?
I am the Cyber Security Specialist for the IPEC contract at Tinker AFB and have been with Obsidian since November 2021
2. What has been one of your proudest moments while working with Obsidian?
One of my proudest moments would have to be when I supported the Mission Defense Team with their Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) and (Control and Report Center) CRC simulation range. This simulated environment allowed operators to take part in Cyber Offensive and Defensive exercises.
3. What ranks number one on your bucket list?
Travel to the Philippines to get a Tattoo from the famous artist Apo Whang Od
4. If you had to eat one meal every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Chicken, rice and sautéed vegetables. I do this already, so it works out.
5. If you could have any superpower what would it be?
Teleportation
