Obsidian Global LLC. awarded Software Assurance (SwA) contract supporting the Air Force’s 76th Software Engineering Group(76 SWEG).

September 17, 2020 Hill AFB, UT- Obsidian Global was awarded a 5 year task order off the US Air Force’s SBEAS IDIQ contract vehicle.  Obsidian will provide mission critical Information Technology expertise supporting the weapon system’s software development within the Air Force’s 309th Software Engineering Group (309 SWEG) at Hill AFB, UT.

The 309th Software Engineering Group (SWEG) is the global leader in weapon system software development and sustainment. They are considered a world leader in “cradle-to-grave” systems support, encompassing software engineering, hardware engineering, program management, data management, consulting, and more, with over three decades of expertise in weapons system and support software, hardware, and systems engineering. SWEG’s engineers and technicians provide critical system updates for military bombers, fighter jets, missile systems, satellite systems and others.

Obsidian will provide systems and network engineering for cyber operations at 309 SWEG supporting the onboarding and sustainment of new and existing weapon systems to the warfighter.
