Obsidian Global LLC. awarded 34 million dollar Cyber Support contract with the Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA).

September 16, 2021, Washington DC- Obsidian was awarded a 5 year, 34.1 million dollar contract providing Cyber Security and Privacy Support services to the Department of Education’s Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) Enterprise Security Group(ECG).

Federal Student Aid (FSA) is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation.  FSA helps make college education possible by providing more than $120 billion in federal grants, loans, and work-study funds each year to help more than 15 million students pay for college or career school.  Obsidian will be providing Information Systems Security, Data Center Security, ISSO management and Communications support.   Obsidian is proud to assist the office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) mission through our support in maintaining and improving it’s security posture.
