Obsidian Global LLC. awarded Cyber Defense Task order supporting the United States Air Force’s Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) radar system.
 

September 21, 2021, Tinker AFB, OK- Obsidian was awarded a 5 year Task Order to provide Communications and Cyber Defense support to the 552 Air Control Wing (ACW) and the 552 Air Network Squadron (ACNS) out of Tinker AFB, OK.

The 552 ACW is responsible for the operation, maintenance, logistics, training, and combat support of E-3 Sentry Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft and Control and Reporting Centers (CRCs). The wing provides combat-ready theater battle management forces and mobile command control, and communications radar elements at the direction of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. It deploys, operates and supports these forces worldwide ensuring combat capability for all peacetime and contingency operations.  Obsidian will provide Systems Administration, Cyber Security, and System Auditing for the 552 ACW/ACNS.
